FCP GROTON RETURN POLICY: New Returns, Core Returns, And Warranty Returns

        IMPORTANT: In order for your return to be processed, you must complete an FCP Returns Form

        FCP prides itself on providing our customers with the highest quality car parts available today. We do understand that sometimes there may be instances where there is an exception to that rule. Whether it be that the item was damaged in transit, is faulty, or other specific circumstances, we're happy to work with you to get you the refund you deserve. While FCP is confident in all the products we offer, we do understand that sometimes variables get into the way of our ability to provide you with the best online car parts shopping experience. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase at FCP Groton, we will gladly help you to exchange or return your item(s), when it falls within the guidelines below. We'll work quick to identify and resolve your issues, no matter what they are, as part of our continuing effort to bring you the most satisfying experience available.

        All returns must include a completed FCP Returns Form (with a pre-approved RMA number) as well as a copy of your original invoice. This will help us easily and quickly process your return. If you have lost or misplaced your invoice, please contact FCP Groton and we will forward you a copy.

NEW RETURNS

Before a new return can be considered please ensure that the item(s)

•    are in their original packaging;
•    have original manufacturer information;
•    are not used, installed, or disassembled;
•    are not damaged due to incorrect installation; and
•    do not having missing parts, hardware or instructions.

New Merchandise Returns (Within 45 Days of Receipt of Order)

•    No used or installed part(s) will be accepted.
•    Original method of payment will be refunded upon the acceptance of returned merchandise.
•    Ebay customers must first agree to the Ebay withdrawal process before any refund will be issued.
•    If the item or the order received free shipping, the shipping cost (FCP Paid) will be deducted from the cost of the merchandise returned.

New Merchandise Returns (Between 46-180 Days of Receipt of Order)

•    No used or installed part(s) will be accepted.
•    Customers will receive a customer credit only upon the acceptance of returned merchandise (customer credits do not expire)
•    Ebay customers must first agree to the Ebay withdrawal process before any refund will be issued.
•    If the item or the order received free shipping, the shipping cost (FCP Paid) will be deducted from the cost of the merchandise returned.

New Merchandise Returns (After 180 Days of Receipt of Order)

•    No Returns after 180 days will be accepted.


RETURNING PART OF A KIT

•    All above Time Lines remain the same.
•    Returning a portion of a Kit needs to be authorized by a CSR; some kits are ineligible for partial return.
•    Returning a portion of a kit will NOT BE ACCEPTED without obtaining authorization from a CSR
•    Returning a portion of an AUTHORIZED kit is subject to a 20% restocking fee.


RESTOCKING FEES

A restocking fee can be applied to the following:

•    Products not returned in its original packaging in sellable condition.
•    Returns that are sent without the completed FCP Returns Form
•    When an FCP RMA number has not been assigned/obtained by customer.
•    When returning a portion of an authorized kit.


WARRANTY RETURNS

FCP Groton warrants all products sold to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 12 months or the expressed manufacturers warranty, whichever is greater. We do not cover any labor cost removal, installation, or damage resulting from delay or loss of use in service or repair or for incidental or consequential damages. All warranty returns will be inspected by our ASE certified Technicians before any refunds will be finalized and issued.

Defective items returned within 30 days of receipt:

•    FCP Groton will either issue a refund for warrantied part(s) or exchange the item (customer discretion).

Defective items returned between 31-90 days of receipt:

•    FCP Groton will issue either customer credit or an exchange of merchandise.

Defective items returned after 91 days of receipt:

•    FCP Groton will issue an exchange of merchandise only.


CORE RETURNS

•    All cores must be returned in the original manufacturer's box. No refund will be issued for cores returned w/o manufacturer's box (i.e.: the box it was sent out in).
•    All fluids must be drained from the core.
•    The core must be securely wrapped in plastic and sealed.
•    Your core will be inspected at FCP Groton in order to determine if it can be rebuilt.
•    Core return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer; these are not refundable.


A couple things to note regarding returns:

To qualify for a warranty return, the defective item needs to be returned to the facility within 1 year of the original date of purchase to be eligible for a warranty return.

FCP requires the defective merchandise back or a hold of deposit before issuing a new warrantied item.

FCP reserves the right to refuse any return that does not fit into the rules and regulations of the above stated return policy.

If there is proof of error on our part, you can obtain a pre-paid shipping label for your return of merchandise (continental U.S. only).
